Initial Telephone consultation
Usually the first contact between us, and gives you the opportunity to find
out something about independent midwifery, and if this might be the right
path for you. No charge.

Initial consultation
An informal chat, giving you the opportunity to ask more questions. Also to
get to know each other and decide if we would like to work together. There
is no charge for this consultation, and no obligation.

Full package of midwifery care - hospital birth £2500
This package includes all antenatal care (approximately 10-13 visits as
needed, lasting around one hour each), being on call for birth from 37 weeks
gestation, attendance at hospital with you in a supportive role, and all
postnatal care including being on call 24/7 during the postnatal period.

Full package of midwifery care - home birth £2750 - £3000 depending on
circumstances
This package is exactly the same as the hospital package except that I will
be on-call for your birth from 37 weeks gestation and will also have a
back-up midwife on-call for your birth too.

One-off visits - £100 per visit
I am very happy to make one-off visits if the full package of care is not
required. Circumstances might include:
. One-off antenatal or postnatal care appointment, supplementary to NHS care;

. birth preparation for you and your partner;

. emergency help with breastfeeding;

. help with making a birth plan;

. preconception/fertility awareness;

. debriefing after previous traumatic experience.
